Fighting a losing battle against his ferocious and irrepressible inner demons, a tormented author flees to the mountains, seeking solace and redemption in a sleepy village somewhere in the untamed Greek province. But, the temptation is everywhere, and there, too, the enemy is all-powerful. Unbeknownst to him, Maria--the dangerously seductive blonde nymph living in the adjoining room--has set her sights on enticing the young writer, and there's nothing more than a thin wall between them to stand in her way. Now, fierce desire, bottled-up repression, and the ever-present threat of rejection mar the troubled author's dream of a pure new beginning. Can there be a future for the middle-wall lovers?
